WELLE Group and Changchun Solid Waste Management Center have signed a new contract of Leachate Treatment Project of Changchun City Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Center. With a cumulative turnover estimated at RMB 630 million (US$ 89 million) for a period of 3 years, this project will address the increasing demand for leachate treatment while supporting the city towards environmental growth.
The project includes the supply, installation, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of leachate treatment equipment. With a design capacity of 3000m3/d, the project will adopt "external MBR+NF+RO" and "concentration and drying treatment system", and the effluent will comply with Table 2 of "Standard for Pollution Control on the Landfill Site of Municipal Solid Waste" (GB16889-2008). Based on the standardized and modular design concept, WELLE will build a semi-permanent "MBR+NF+RO" emergency service facility in a fast assembly manner. Through this contract, it will not only solve the problem of accumulated leachate, but also process the newly generated leachate which provide a long-term solution for customers.
This contract builds upon WELLE's presence in China market and positions the Group as a key player in the management of leachate treatment. The solutions will keep providing essential services to face increasing waste treatment demands of the population.
